KISS CRACKED HEELS GOODBYE

Afraid to wear open shoes or sandals because of cracked heels?

Worry no more! And kiss your cracked heels goodbye!

Cracked heels are due to dry skin and accumulated dirt. There are other reasons such as psoriasis, exzema, athlete's foot etc.  The fissures in your heels become longer and rougher over time. And as the skin thickens, it cracks. So while it is still early and you are still young start caring for your heels. Going for foot spa may be costly so here’s a little trick I would want to share with you.

Make a homemade foot scrub!

Homemade scrubs are practical and easy to prepare. Plus you will be assured that your foot scrub is free from harsh chemicals and preservatives.

What You need
-         Bowl
-         spoon to mix
-         container to store the foot scrubs

Ingredients used
·         1 cup white sugar
·         2 tsp baking soda
·         2 tsp olive oil
·         2 tsp honey
·         Essential oil- A few drops

Procedure:
·         Add white sugar in a bowl. Sugar is used as the base for this scrub. It is an exfoliant,

·         Next add olive oil and mix well with a spoon. Olive oil is an excellent moisturiser. It does leave any trace of oiliness.

·         Then add baking soda and mix again. Baking soda is a natural exfoliant and cleanses the skin. It maintains the Ph balance of the skin to ensure moisture.

·         Add in the honey. Honey is anti-ageing and nourishes dry parched skin.

Your foot scrub is ready! Store it in a container in a cool dry place. The mix should last you for 2 weeks

How to use
·         Use this scrub before or while taking a shower

·         Massage in circular motion and concentrate on the rough spots.

·         Once you rinse your feet, your feet will remain moisturized because of the oil .

·         This scrub can be used on hands as well.

Constant application can make a BIG DIFFERENCE!
